Getting Started Guide

Set up your tutoring center in TUTORsimple and start scheduling sessions in under an hour.

Step 1: Create Your Account

When you sign up for TUTORsimple, you'll complete a brief setup wizard that captures your business information:

  • Business name and contact information
  • Timezone setting (important for scheduling)
  • Default currency and billing preferences
  • Admin user account creation

This information can be updated later in Settings if needed.

Step 2: Configure Your Locations

Add each tutoring location where you offer services:

  • Location name and address
  • Operating hours for each day
  • Available rooms or spaces
  • Location-specific contact information

For online-only tutoring, create a "Virtual" location to track remote sessions.

Step 3: Add Tutors

Invite your tutors to join TUTORsimple:

  • Send email invitations from the Tutors section
  • Tutors create their own accounts and set passwords
  • Configure which subjects each tutor teaches
  • Set availability for each tutor
  • Assign pay rates (hourly, per session, or percentage)

Tutors will be able to view their schedules and enter session notes once added.

Step 4: Set Up Services

Create the tutoring services you offer:

  • Service name (e.g., "Math Tutoring - Individual")
  • Default session duration
  • Pricing (per session or hourly)
  • Group size limits if applicable
  • Subjects or categories

Step 5: Add Students

Enter your students and connect them with payers:

  • Student name and grade level
  • Primary guardian/payer information
  • Additional payers for split billing (if needed)
  • Notes and preferences

Once students are added, you can start scheduling sessions.
