Software as a Service

What is SaaS?

SaaS (Software as a Service) is a software distribution model where applications are hosted by a provider and made available to customers over the internet, typically through a subscription model.

Instead of installing and maintaining software on local computers or servers, users access SaaS applications through a web browser. The provider handles all infrastructure, maintenance, and updates.

SaaS Benefits

  • No installation - Access from any device with internet
  • Automatic updates - Always have the latest version
  • Predictable costs - Subscription pricing instead of large upfront licenses
  • Scalability - Easily add or remove users as needed
  • Maintenance-free - Provider handles servers and security
  • Accessibility - Work from anywhere with internet access

  • Business software - Salesforce, HubSpot, Slack
  • Productivity - Google Workspace, Microsoft 365
  • Accounting - QuickBooks Online, Xero
  • CCMS products - TUTORsimple, STORAGEsimple, DMARCsimple, SERVEsimple
