Update Payment Method

New card, expired card, or switching to bank payments? Updating your payment method takes a couple of minutes and keeps your service uninterrupted.

Step 1: Open Billing Settings

Payment methods are managed by the account owner or an admin user:

  • Sign in to your CCMS product (TUITIONsimple, STORAGEsimple, SERVEsimple, or DMARCsimple)
  • From your dashboard, open Settings > Billing
  • Locate the payment methods or payment details section

If you do not see billing options, your user role may not include billing access; ask your account owner or contact support.

Step 2: Replace Your Card

To swap in a new or reissued card:

  • Add the new card first, including the billing ZIP code that matches your card statement
  • Set the new card as the default payment method
  • Remove the old card once the new one is saved

Adding before removing ensures there is never a gap with no valid payment method on file. Card details are stored with our payment processor, not on CCMS servers.

Paying by ACH Bank Transfer

For accounts that prefer bank payments over cards, ACH is available:

  • ACH avoids card expiration issues and is well suited to recurring subscriptions
  • Setup involves verifying your bank account, which can take a few business days
  • Email support@ccmshightech.com to switch your account to ACH billing

Keep a card on file during the switchover so invoices issued before ACH verification completes are still paid on time.

Failed Payments and Retries

If a charge fails (expired card, insufficient funds, bank decline), here is what happens:

  • You receive an email notice that the payment did not go through
  • The charge is retried automatically over the following days
  • Updating your payment method usually triggers a fresh retry, or you can retry the invoice manually from Billing
  • Service interruptions only occur after repeated failures and prior notice

If your bank declined a legitimate charge, a quick call to the bank to approve the merchant usually prevents repeat declines.

Billing Questions
